Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Sweet black cherry intermixed with fresh herbs,
violets, ground coffee bean and loam create an
intriguing nose. This Cab is youthful and energetic
on the palate, with fresh blackberry notes, mineral
and dried tobacco. The undercurrent of freshness
provides cooling on the palate while the soft and
supple tannins provide persistent staying power.
With its beautiful depth and charm, this wine will
age gracefully for the next 8+ years.
Winemaker Notes
The 2019 Mauritson Sonoma County Cabernet is
restrained and complex. Taking advantage of our
incredible diversity of fruit sourcing, we can benefit
from the best that Northern Sonoma County has to
offer. Each vineyard and each varietal add a nuance
and layer to the blend, creating a wine that is subtle
and over-delivers.
