This elegant Rosé is a beautiful hue: rose-copper. And scents of crushed rock, wild strawberry and pomegranate seed, punctuated by traces of dried chamomile blossom, dance from the glass. Bone dry, the fleshy core of delicate red fruit is balanced by racy acidity.
This single vineyard, 2022 vintage wine is 100% barrel-fermented with 20% new French oak aged on 100 percent gross lees. On the nose, enticing aromas of calla lily, roasted almond, yellow peach and crushed river stone swirl amid undertones of marzipan and flaky pie crust.
Perfumed ripe summer black cherry, pomegranate seed, sweet spice and essence of mandarin rind mingle beautifully with warm pie crust, almond paste and vanilla pod aromas. Details of fresh dark fruit with undertones of toasted coffee bean give way to a core of inviting, velvety tannins and a long fresh finish.
This release is our second vintage from this historic single vineyard that embraces – and amplifies -- all the classic characteristics of old-vine Russian River Valley Zinfandel: dazzling wild bramble fruit, incredible freshness and silky tannins. The wine is bright and energetic on the entry, leading to a core of exotic berry with alluring black tea leaf notes.

Our 2022 Rockpile Ridge Vineyard Zinfandel exudes rich aromas of warm baked blackberry cobbler, black fig drizzled in balsamic, crushed sassafras and sweet earthen spice with lingering notes of cola berry. The entry is driven by ripe juicy dark fruits, a firm core of mountain tannins and lingering flavors of spice. This Zinfandel will be even more fabulous with 1-2 hours of aeration.
Its harmonious aromatics entice with ripe red fruits, warm, melted milk chocolate shavings, wild dried brush, mineral and glazed dark fruits. Dense and full-bodied, it has ample juicy red and dark fruits, with lingering tones of dried herbs and sweet earth. An almost chewy texture balances generous tannins and a long, fresh finish.
The Får has a complex aromatic profile of lush ripe dark fruits, smoked herbs, coffee and a touch of purple alyssum. The texture is seamless and accessible and the wine resolves perfectly, with a multi-layered and persistent finish of ripe red fruit, warm sweet spices and earth tones.

This 2021 Rockpile Zinfandel exudes detailed aromas of kirsch, orange rind, milk chocolate and warm toasted almond. It’s strikingly harmonious and layered with sweet brambly fruits and ripe Santa Rosa plum, with additional undertones of warm baking spices.
This resulting wine is beautifully complex and perfumy, with aromas of blackberry compote, violet candy, cured meats, red peppercorn, lavender blossom, fresh blueberry and toasted pecan. Firm and voluptuous tannins, a hallmark of Rockpile, provide
