Tasting Notes
This alluring wine opens to a bouquet of chocolatecovered
black cherry, espresso grounds, perfume of
dried apricot and a pulse of dried herb. Baked
blackberry and delicately shaved vanilla pod with
firm and youthful tannins give way to a fresh and
persistent finish. Enjoy this classic Zinfandel for the
next 7-10 years.
Vineyard Notes
This vineyard is located in the northeastern part of
the valley and the more than 50-year-old vines are
planted in beautiful, red-tinted volcanic hillside soil
and are dry farmed.
Winemaker Notes
This vintage of our signature wine – our 2020 Dry
Creek Valley Zinfandel -- is made almost entirely
from fruit from the Buchignani Vineyard — a family
we’ve partnered with for nearly two decades.
