Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Wafting from the glass are sweet aromas of candied blueberry and ripe black currant, along with savory nuances of dried coastal underbrush. A beautiful freshness gives lift to the mid-palate while the lingering dark berries provide depth. The graceful tannins linger on the palate and this Cabernet will age exquisitely for the next 10-plus years.
Winemaker Notes
Our 2021 Mauritson Sonoma County Cabernet is a remarkable example of the art of blending to capture both a sense of place and time. All five traditional Bordeaux grapes have roles in showcasing the incredible diversity of fruit that northern Sonoma County has to offer, with each vineyard and varietal adding a nuance and layer to the final stunning wine.
