The Muscat Blanc juice is fermented entirely in stainless steel and has not gone through malolactic fermentation, preserving the detailed nuance of this grape. This wine has intense aromas of perfumed lily of the valley blossom, key lime mousse and sweet wet stone. For Carrie Mauritson, the Muscat’s exotic aromatics transport her back to her childhood in Durban, South Africa, where she first encountered the fragrance of lychees.
