This multi-layered Bordeaux blend walks a fine line between the expected ripeness of a dry, warm growing season and the freshness that is the hallmark of our wines. Intriguing aromas of red cassis, licorice, cured meats, dried lavender, cigar wrapper and shavings of dark cacao are prominent.
The Loam Cabernet Sauvignon is the proprietary blend of grapes sourced from vineyards planted in Positas, Suther, and Clough soils. It is comprised of the best vineyards, grown in the best soil, from the best appellations. Perfectly structured, Loam balances the brightness and focused tannins of hillside fruit with the dense, rich characteristics of fruit grown in the ancient riverbed and valley floor soils.
This elegant Rosé has a light rose-copper tint with scents of wild strawberry, dried chamomile blossom, bosc pear and crushed chalk, punctuated by traces of morning alyssum blossom. Bone dry, the fleshy core of delicate red fruits is balanced by racy acidity. Enjoy this energetic Rosé with lighter fare or while enjoying a picnic with family and friends!
Enticing perfumed aromas include fresh white pineapple, spicy white Magnolia blossom and crushed river stone, with a hint of candied mandarin. The entry is bright, energetic and very inviting. On the palate, cleansing kaffir lime zest gives the wine focus, while a kiss of mango flesh and candied peach carries the round and refreshing lift on the finish.
This is the third iteration of our beautifully aromatic dry Muscat Blanc, showcasing one of the oldest grape varietals in the world. We select the fruit for this wine from just a few rows in one of our family’s organically farmed vineyards in Lake County. Bergamot, orange rind, sun-drenched jasmine blossom, and dried Noisette rose with undertones of freshly minced ginger.
This 2021 Rockpile Zinfandel exudes detailed aromas of kirsch, orange rind, milk chocolate and warm toasted almond. It’s strikingly harmonious and layered with sweet brambly fruits and ripe Santa Rosa plum, with additional undertones of warm baking spices.
Initially shy on the nose, with aeration this beautiful Pinot Noir wine reveals intricately woven aromas of young lilac blossom, Santa Rosa plum flesh and exotic East Asian spices.
