This elegant Rosé has a light rose-copper tint with scents of fresh winter pomegranate seeds, red pear and crumbled slate and spice, punctuated by traces of calla lily blossom. Bone dry, the fleshy core of delicate red fruits is balanced by racy acidity.
This is the third iteration of our beautifully aromatic dry Muscat Blanc, showcasing one of the oldest grape varietals in the world. We select the fruit for this wine from just a few rows in one of our family’s organically farmed vineyards in Lake County. Bergamot, orange rind, sun-drenched jasmine blossom, and dried Noisette rose with undertones of freshly minced ginger.
The growing season for this vintage yielded Zinfandels with transcendent plushness and sophisticated character. The Får also has a complex aromatic profile reminiscent of dark fruit compote, savory dried herbs, crushed graphite and red earth mineral.
Our 2021 Buck Pasture takes full advantage of this incredible fruit. It’s multi-dimensional on the nose, with intriguing aromas of red and dark fruits, sweet forest floor, sweet spice, dark cacao and savory herbs.
Stunning perfume of violet petals, black cherry preserves, and chocolate box gives way to soft tones of dark plum flesh and sweet earthen char. The texture is effortless, with mountain-grown power and restraint. This wine resolves perfectly, with a multi-layered, persistent finish of ripe black fruits and a lovely, defining freshness.
